Please keep in mind that there is a license linked to this file. I have seen people selling my design on Etsy which is not allowed. I am working on a small startup company to sell these and donate some of the revenue to cat shelters. Other people selling my design could hurt this business. 

I created this model for my cat. Ive seen cat scratchers before but my cat seriously loves catnip. I thought about combining the two, so i made holes in the cones so it can be filled with catnip. It really works, you should try it. My cat loves it.

The part can be printed without support. Make sure that the opening is on the top! The 3D viewer shows the model upside down.

Update 01/14/24:

i did not expect this model to  have this many downloads. I made this for my cat and just decided to put it here not thinking people would actually download this.
This thing was not easy to fill at all, and i want to avoid the struggle for other people, I redesigned the model so that it can be filled in the pocket behind the curve.
I also made the holes bigger to make the catnip more exposed to your cat.

update 12/16/24:

In october I got in touch with someone who helps students becomming entrepreneurs. I showed them this product (and while not 100% original, some similar products exist already) they were pleased to help me. Right now I am going through the process of creating a small design studio where I can sell these to cat owners. During this process I did some product testing and made some adjustments to the design from user feedback. 

• The product is now easier to fill, just insert a business-card in the slot and use it as a tray for easy filling!
• made an incline on the back to prevent the double sided tape from sticking out. This gives a cleaner look.
• adjusted the cones to provide a better feeling for cats. previous versions were too “round” on the edges.
• added some holes in the middle row of cones to allow users to mount this with a zip tie. Sticking it to a round surface, like scratching pole, was not possible, but now it is.
