Printable accessory for Original Prusa Enclosure developed to enable access from the top. Can be used for a standalone printer or for a printer with a multi-material unit on the frame.

In case you want to use the Hinged Lid without the MMU you can use Hinged-Lid-Complete_0.3mm_PETG_MK3S_5h58m.gcode or you can turn off MMU-grommet in the 3mf file

In case you want to use the Hinged Lid with Advanced Filtration System you need to print Hinge-bracket-Rt instead of Hinge-bracket-R

To mount the Hinged lid you will need the following fasteners*:

• M3x8 screw (15x)
• M3nS nut (1x)
• M3 nut (8x)
• Pin 3x20 (2x)

* The package of the Original Prusa Enclosure includes extra fasteners, which were added in case you wanted to install the Hinged Lid.

Print instructions

You have three options:

• use the pre-sliced G-code and print it on your MK3S+
• use .3mf file for accurate setting of perimeters and supports
• download the latest PrusaSlicer and use the following settings**:
  • print settings: 0.30mm DRAFT
  • filament: PETG (tested on Prusament)
  • 20% grid infill
  • minimum of 8 perimeters
  • turn on thin wall detection

** Note that this setting is the minimum possible due to the strength of the parts, but you can experiment with your own settings.
