This is a replacement part for the Sony WH-1000XM4.

So Recently my favorite pair of headphones that i've had for the past 4 years, finally broke, from my research I found the hinge breaking on the Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones is pretty common, now I could find the replacement part for relatively cheap and wait for it to come in or buy another one for a pretty penny. But why would I when I have CAD modeling experience and a 3d printer (also I wanted them right away since I rely on it for focus so much).

I've made this part to be compatible on both on left and right sides of the headphones hinges, of course you'll still need the metal clip that goes in the slow, but nevertheless. Hope you guys find this helpful!

I highly recommend using a resin printer for this part, but since I don't own one, I used my fdm printer, I printed at 0.1 layer height with 3 walls, also print at 45 degree orientation, please refer to the image for orientation. 0.2 layer height works as well.

You can use supports and rafts if you want, I used them, but he part can print without them if your printer is dialed in.

I used fusion 360, a caliper, and pieces of the original part.

Also shout-out to "Nytorus" for making the original version of this part on Thingiverse, My version isn't really a remix of theirs but I used theirs as a template while modeling my version.
